Course Objective

One of the most basic institutions of labor law is undoubtedly wages.
Workers' wages (all wages, dressed wages) are those that do not have any receivables but mostly those who have no income other than labor. It is of social nature and concerns large sections.
Therefore, all employees have a social benefit in securing their receivables, which are their livelihoods.
When it comes to providing assurance of labor wages; In general, the procedure brought by the legal order is understood in order for the workers to have their rights arising from laws and contracts.
In master's courses, first of all, the issue of protecting the principle of "wage protection", which is one of the most basic issues of Turkish labor law, with laws and contracts, will be the subject of examination.
Again in this lesson; In international agreements, when it comes to the guarantee of labor receivables, it is understood as the special protection of workers' wages. On these issues, the ILO also has numerous contracts and recommendations. Likewise, the European Union also has various directives and general regulations on this matter.
On the other hand, although the inadequacies in securing the wage will be discussed, the legislation of the countries will also be the subject of scrutiny throughout the course from some good example. Essentially, each country has its own domestic law regulated the birth of the right to receivable in terms of its internal functioning, how and by which methods this right can be requested from debtors and how to collect receivables.
