Course Objective

This course aims to teach the the organic relation between movement and emotion besides teaching to use the body and movement as means of emotional expression.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students who succesfully complete this course should be able to:apprehend the relation between body and emotion in practice and to be aware of it
2   learn the means of physical expression by using classic and contemporary methods.
3   do creative and original works by movement
4   search personal abilities besides standart physical ones and use them and gain artistic evaluation ability standing by the required criteria after the presentation.
5   discover the relation between movement and stage and in this sense to use the cultural knowledge.
6   to create original subjects in their presentation and shape it with the course data and the wright desing.
7   to have knowledge on the works in movement, the different and contemporary methods used.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

1- Courses
The lecturer makes improvisation exercises in which the students understand the connection between three fundemental material (speaking-movement-emotion) of acting and the means of physical expression.
2- Practices
The theory and practices are transformed into a personal work by the student. These works should be tirades. The causality of the music, light, setting and costumes required for the work should be explained.
3- Class Discussion
The projects made by students are discussed and critisized in the class. The criteria is that the work is right and effective . Student observes the effect on the audience. That helps to increase the quality and the creativity of the latter productions

1- required %80 of attendence
2- Student can't enter the class after the lesson starts.
3- It is an obligation to read the play for participation.
4- Improper behaviours are the cause of being put out of the class.
5- Being absent in presentation day is equal not doing the presentation.
