Course Objective

To inform students about the basic concepts, ethical theories (approaches) and ethical principles related to ethics, dentistry ethics and deontology, to help students understand ethical approaches and to raise awareness of ethical problems and dilemmas they will encounter in practice.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explains the basic concepts of medical ethics, medical ethics theories and principles of medical ethics.
2   Defines the application of the general framework of medical ethics in the context of individual subjects and events.
3   Lists the basic ethical steps in the subject of research in medicine in terms of ethics .
4   Counts the legal texts to which the physician is bound.
5   Attaches importance to informed consent in the diagnosis, treatment and scientific research process.

5. The student should be able to attach importance to informed consent in the diagnosis, treatment and scientific research process.
