General Description
History |
Arabic Language and Rhetoric Master Education, which is highly important about that became advance in Arabic Grammar and rhetoric and reached literature about Islamic Sciences and Basic Islamic Sciences, has started in 2014-2015 term. There are 3 instructors in program. The master program has served information about that reaching and introducing the classic literature of arabic language and modern Arabic Literature. It is provided guidance that recognizes classic literary work and analysis special literary feature. |

First Cycle (Bachelor's Degree) diploma; a minimum score of 55 from the Academic Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) in the related field or GRE/GMAT equivalent; a minimum score of 50 from the Foreign Language Exams (ÜDS/KPDS/YDS/e-YDS/YÖKDİL) or from equivalent foreign language proficiency exam approved by OSYM or a minimum score of 55 from DEU School of Foreign Languages English Proficiency Test. Transcript; a minimum score of 65 from the graduate school academic proficiency exam. |

After graduated Arabic Language and Rhetoric Master Program Students may attend doctorate programs. Employees that is at Diyanet and Ministry of Education may have carrier degree. If MEB's employee had required working years employee may get specialist teachers degree. In addition students may apply academic staff. |

Evaluation and assessment methods for each course are defined in the Course Description Form which is prepared by related faculty member / s and included in the information package. Exams and course success notes is subject to the relevant articles of the DEU Regulation on Graduate Education. |
Graduation Requirements |
Second Cycle (Master's Degree) Program with thesis is comprised of courses (at least 54 ECTS), a seminar (3 ECTS) and field study (3 ECTS) and thesis (60 ECTS), in total 120 ECTS credits. Students must have minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.00 and completed all the courses with at least CB/ S / TP grades. |
