General Description
History |
Dokuz Eylul University Institute of Social Sciences Department of Business Administration was established by Decree No. 41 on 20 July 1982. Still attached to the department, Business Administration Doctorate Program has been training as an interdisciplinary program. In accordance with the interdisciplinary nature of Business Administration studies, teaching staff of the Department consists of faculty members who specialize in various disciplines. The purpose of the program is that the theoretical and practical knowledge can be used by students, concepts and ideas relating to the area can be examined with scientific methods by students and gain in-depth knowledge about the professional application and to teach you how to use of existing knowledge to students; in addition, to educate qualified human resource that have the basic principles, strategies and techniques of modern business, can be analyze and interpret disruptions and needs in the business structure and can produce concrete solutions to the problems in the business for private and public sector. Education language is Turkish. |

Second Cycle (Master's Degree) diploma; a minimum CGPA of 80/100 or 3/4; a minimum score of 60 from the nation-wide Academic Graduate Education Entrance Examination (ALES) in the related field or GRE/GMAT equivalent; a minimum score of 60 from the Foreign Language Exams (ÜDS/KPDS/YDS/e-YDS/YÖKDİL) or from equivalent foreign language proficiency exam |

There are 48 faculty members and 19 research assistants from different disciplines in Dokuz Eylul University Institute of Social Sciences Department of Business Administration, Business Administration Doctorate program. There are three computer labs and wi-fi access that can be used by students. Language of the program is Turkish. |

The students who graduate from the Business Administration Doctorate program, can be worked in public institutions in the A group Works like supervisor assistant, expert assistant and in the private firms upper and functional management departments as assistant managers or managers. In addition, can be work as a research assistant, lecturer and faculty member in the universities. |

Evaluation and assessment methods for each course is defined in the Course Description Form which is prepared by related faculty member / s and included in the information package. Exams and course success notes is subject to the relevant articles of the DEU Regulation on Graduate Education. |
Graduation Requirements |
Third Cycle (Doctorate Degree) Program with thesis is comprised of courses (84 ECTS), a field study (3 ECTS), seminar (3 ACTS) and thesis (150 ECTS), in total 240 ECTS credits. Students must have minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50/4.00 and completed all the courses with at least CB/S/TP grades. |
