Course Objective

To gain a thorough grasp of the state-of-the art in applications of genomics in medicine.

4   Usage of databases to inquire human genetic variation
5   Understand the methods and approaches to study of single-gene disorders

7   Elucidation of disease-associated genes and pathways by in silico tools
8   Explain how genomic tools are used for personal health and well-being
9   Know the methods of gene-therapy and its current applications
