Course Objective

The purpose of this lesson; to distinguish medical terms related with motion System,
Respiratory System, Gastrointestinal System, Nervous System, Circulatory System,
Urogenital system and sensory organs; to gain skill and proficiency the correct way to
pronounce, write.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To define basic grammar properties of the words in medical terminology.
2   To define commonly used terms related with Locomotor system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
3   To define commonly used terms related with circulatory system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
4   To define commonly used terms related with respiratory system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
5   To define commonly used terms related with digestive system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
6   To define commonly used terms related with urogenital system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
7   To define commonly used terms related with nervous and endocrin system and sense organs of the normal anatomic structures and diseases

1 Course introduction, pre-test, Basic Definitions and Terms Related to Human
2 Medical Terminology reading the rules, Inclusion letters, medical terms,mainstreaming letters. Medical Abbreviations
3 Medical Terminology,forming the elements; prefix, suffix, root structures.
4 commonly used terms related with Locomotor system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
5 commonly used terms related with circulatory system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
6 commonly used terms related with respiratory system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
7 commonly used terms related with digestive system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
8 commonly used terms related with urogenital system of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
9 commonly used terms related with Nervous System of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
10 commonly used terms related with endocrin system and sense organs of the normal anatomic structures and diseases
