Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine psychological disorders first diagnosed in childhood or adolescence and psychotherapy techniques in relation to these disor
Diagnostic criteria, differential diagnoses, epidemiological and etiological properties, assessment and treatment approaches, case examples will be covered

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to define characteristics of psychological disorders seen in children
2   Be able to recognize differential diagnosis for psychological disorders seen in children
3   Be able to describe epidemiological properties of psychological disorders seen in children
4   Be able to describe etiological properties of psychological disorders seen in children
5   Be able to define characteristics of the assessment interviews to be conducted with children
6   Be able to describe treatment procedures for psychological disorders seen in children
