Course Objective

to give information about the weldability of plastics and composites, to explain the types of plastic welding, to explain the issues to be considered in the welding methods of plastics and composites, to gain the hand skills of welding methods of plastics and composites

2   To be able to know plastic and composite welding techniques
3   To be able to explain the differences between plastic and composite welding techniques
4   To be able to choose the correct welding technique according to the type of plastic and composite

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

The theoretical part of this course will be covered in the classroom and the practical part in the workshop. Lecturers will give the subjects using slides, discuss them with the students as questions and answers, give them hands-on in the workshop for a better understanding of the subjects
