Course Objective

This course's aim is to discuss the main concepts of cancer biology including but not limited to neoplastic transformation, invasion, metastasis, and to learn about the similarities and differences of different types of recurrent cancers.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the advanced concepts of cancer.
2   To gain comprehension of the methodological approaches used to perform cancer research.
3   To gain the ability to critically evaluate the literature on a variety of cancer biology topics.
4   To gain the ability to be able to generate new concepts for future cancer biology investigations.
5   To know the ethical considerations about cancer research.
