Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce students to understand the processes involved when making a reservation and issuing tickets including costings by using Galileo.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Understand the dimensions, nature and significance of informations systems in travel and tourism
2   2. Examine and apply reservation procedures used in Galileo
3   3. Comprehend and apply both creating as well as editing booking files procedures in Galileo.
4   4. Examine and apply fare quote procedures in Galileo
5   5. Analyze and issue ticketing procedures in Galileo.
