Course Objective

To gain the ability to analyze the basic concepts of business, the development process of business and the interaction of the business with the environmental elements.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to define the basic concepts and principles of business administration
2   Classify business types and properties
3   Be able to explain the processes in which the enterprises are included in the business phase starting from the establishment phase
4   To be able to analyze internal and external environment elements and business purposes of the operator within this scope
5   To be able to interpret current developments in business.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

1.Midterm Exam: Mid-term exam covers the topics examined in the course and weekly assignments (40%).
2.Final Exam: Final exam covers all subjects in the course content. Students are also responsible for the discussion, practice and case studies (60%).

Assessment Criteria

Exam papers will be evaluated regarding the level of understanding, as well as defining the causality between the basic concepts and issues of the lecture, ability of giving examples and analytical thought, and using relevant terminology.
