Course Objective

The course focuses on urbanization and migration phenomena, which are the basic realities of today's world. The main objective of the course is Turkey's social / migration and urbanization in the historical process is to analyze the multi-dimensional dynamics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this course, students effectively use the terminology related to migration and urbanization.
2   Understands basic approaches to migration and urban theories.
3   Explain the effects of migration and urbanization dynamics in historical process on aggregations.
4   Turkey has experienced the impact of migration and urbanization explain the social dimension of social change.
5   They analyze the causes and consequences of migration and urbanization dynamics, taking into account the data of field studies conducted on this subject.
