Course Objective

The main aim of this course is to provide an understanding of advanced qualitative methods. Discussing the qualitative method designed to collect in-depth information in social science research with all details can be accepted as the main aim of this course.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The content of qualitative methods and techniques will be discussed first.
2   In the next stages, various case studies will be discussed with different qualitative methods.
3   In the context of qualitative method, a detailed presentation will be prepared about reliability, validity, in-depth interview, preparing a semi-structured questionnaire, conducting the interview, coding, analysis, comment and reporting.
