Course Objective

This course aims to introduce main mechanisms of the international protection of human rights, and to emphasize the human rights for major issues in the contemporary world, including democracy, development and sovereignity, by explaining the historical and philosophical evolution of the "human rights" concept, and the regional/international, political and legal instruments regulated for protection oh these rights to students

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   demostrate understanding possible disputes on protection of human rights and to be able to bring solutions for prevention and settlements for them.
2   display understanding of the evolution of international human rights and of the global and regional political and legal instruments designed for their protection.
3   follow the doctrin, international studies and international agreements to be able tı discuss the current topics.
4   develop the skill to make critical and reasoned argument
5   improve the necessary skills to make presentations in the classroom
6   develop the skill to engage discussions with co learners and as well as the lecturer.
7   develop the skill to find, use, and evaluate the relevant resorces including academic and media

5. the learner will able to express wievs in clear, precise and self-confident manner
6. the learner will be able to make critical and reasoned opinion
7.the learner use library and internet resources
