Course Objective

The course is designed to analyze the evolution of international economic institutions since World War II. The analysis focuses on the post war world configuration of international institutions designed to manage international trade and monetary affairs.

1. The learner will clearly discuss the relationship between national economies and international economic institutions.
2. The learner will be able to explain the effects on international economic institutions on welfare.
