Course Objective

This course aims to improve organizational effectiveness in turbulent environments especially through the use of human resources. The course provides basic analytical and interpersonal skills necessary for organizational development interventions in a wide range of organizational contexts.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of a range of organizational change methods and the appropriateness of their application.
2   Demonstrate an understanding of the processes involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of planned organizational change programs.
3   Demonstrate an understanding of the role of human resource development in the context of organizational change.
4   Identify learning need/issues, training and development need, designing methods and materials to meet those needs, in the context of organizational change.
5   Demonstrate skills acquired through practical work, relevant to working as a consultant in organizational change.
6   Develop oral/written communication skills; articulate and defend his/her position.
7   Develop and enhance the essential interpersonal skills to be an effective team member
