Course Objective

The course aims to help students acquire knowledge and skills that are necessary for translating short written passages from German into Turkish.

1   Be able to understand and interpret written texts of various types, in source language
2   Be able to translate these texts into target language, according to their meanings and functions
3   Be able to solve translational problems
4   Be able to evaluate and criticize translations
