Course Objective

To evaluate the historical development, basic concepts, method and perspective of the social / cultural anthropology discipline

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to evaluate subfields of anthropology, the origin, development, history and basic concepts of social and cultural anthropology as a science.
2   Will be able to formulate the method of Social and Cultural Anthropology
3   Will be able to comprehend the basic issues of cultural analysis and develop a holistic perspective
4   Will be able to interpret the concept of cultural change
5   Will be able to combine different cultures living in different ecological conditions in different geographies around the world.
