Course Objective

It aims to provide information about the principles and methods to be applied in the conservation and repair of materials that have cultural heritage value found in the museum restoration laboratory and ancient city excavation laboratories.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   List basic and up-to-date information about the protection of cultural heritage with national and international validity.
2   Designs application projects in the field of protection and repair and produces solutions to complete the projects successfully.
3   Following national and international technological developments in the field of conservation and restoration; materials, tools and devices used in the field
4   Applies the theoretical, technical and technological knowledge acquired in practical studies in the field in accordance with internationally accepted professional ethics and principles
5   To improve their knowledge and skills with professional experiences follows the broadcasts.
