The main interest of this course is the relationship between history and nationalism, the rise of nation states, and accordingly the enhanced importance of historiography, the development of formal historiography, and the theories on nationalism.

1. LO 1-4: This will be evaluated through the performance in the term and final examinations.
2. LO 1-5: This will be evaluated through the performance in the term project.
