Course Objective

Main course objective is to provide evaluating and learning political, social, economic and cultural particularities of relations between Turks, Byzantines and Westerners throughout history, results and reflections to the present, and explaining and studying carefully transformative and formative dynamics of these realtions.

1   know literature on relationships between Turks-Byzantine and West
2   define progress of relationships between Turks-Byzantine and West throughout history
3   learn main titles and definitions about realtionships between T-B and W.
4   interpret historical, economic and social progress of relationships between T-B and West
5   evaluate place and role of policy, culture and religion in relationships between T-B and W
