Course Objective

The aim of this course is to examine the theories and findings related with biological based psychopharmacology approach which is considering for explain psychological disorders and reviewing the medicines used for biological treatment.

1   To be able to define the basic psychopharmacologic theories
2   To be able to exemplify the basic psychopharmacologic concepts
3   To be able to classify treatment instruments in this area
4   To be able to comprehend effect mechanisms of medicines.
5   To be able to follow current developments in psychopharmacology
6   To be able to critically discuss the theories of psychopharmacology based on biological approach in explaining psychological disorders
