Course Objective

The aim of this course, learning the basic statistical concepts used in the field of oncology and learning the cancer-specific statistical analysis.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Acquire of information about basic statistical methods specific to cancer research
2   Be able to know the appropriate test selection algorithm.
3   Acquire of information about ratio one group / two groups statistical methods, categorical distribution and the average tests.
4   Be able to know the relationships between variables, and correlation analysis
5   Capable of taking of records of objective data suitable for statistical analysis

2 Frequently used parameters and the dispersion characteristics in cancer
3 Concepts of statistical testing and statistical inference-1

5 Parametric and nonparametric test concepts
6 Testing basic assumptions and the selection of appropriate test selection algorithm-1
7 Testing basic assumptions and the selection of appropriate test selection algorithm-2

9 The ratio for a single group, statistical tests for categorical distiribution and an average
10 Comparing the ratio of two groups, statistical tests for categorical distiribution and an average
11 Ratio of more than two group comparisons, statistical tests for categorical distiribution and an average
