Course Objective

The concept of cancer statistics, basic statistical information for cancer, commonly used statistical methods, the concept of cancer registry, cancer registry from past to present, cancer registry in Turkey, the national cancer registry system, recording systems, interpretation and use of records, from numbers to patient cancer registries,The role of cancer registries in cancer prevention program, principles of cancer registry.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Be able to perform works within the framework of the ethical rules in the field of cancer epidemiology.
2   Thesis, as well as other activities related to cancer epidemiology, plans, implements, and the author presents and converts it for publication
3   Capable of collect correct and complete research data records.
4   Be able to archives and reaches the data, if necessary.
5   Be able to product of scientific information uses the archived data.
6   Capable of studies involving different disciplines makes the group work.
