Course Objective

The aim of the course is to follow the development of sociological theory in the 1930-1940-1950 and 1960s after the classical period.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student knows the holistic approaches of sociology with this course.
2   It follows the development of sociological theory after the 19th century.
3   Learn structuralism, structural-functionalism, functionalism and conflict theories.
4   The development of sociology as a science begins from the first half of the 19th century until the 1920s. is the period of classical sociology. After 1960, sociological theory
5   Modern sociology dominates the modern times between the classical period and the time when the action was dominant.
