Course Objective

Students will develop an understanding of core psychological concepts and theories, as well as the scientific study of behavioral and mental processes.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To become aware of the major psychological approaches to the study of behavior.
2   To become familiar with the theories and contributions of major figures in the field
3   To gain self understanding and a greater understanding of others
4   To recognize ways to apply psychological findings to everyday life
5   To learn to appreciate the necessity of a multi-level explanation of behavior.
