Course Objective

To acquire an understanding of different regions in the international field and examine different dimensions of regional cooperation within the scope of international relations and comparative politics.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the concept of regions in international relations in the context of actors and levels of analysis
2   To be familiarized with with the political, economic and cultural characteristics of countries in different regions
3   To be able to evaluate the factors in the emergence and development of regional cooperation models
4   To be able to conduct research and provide assessments by use of various resources
5   To develop communication skills by presentation and discussion
