Course Objective

This course aims to enhance the student s abilities of making decisions clinically, problem solving and care management based on the theorical information in the field of surgical diseases nursing.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Integrating the theorical information acquired in the surgical diseases nursing course before during and after sugical intervention in patient care
2   Acquiring the ability of making decisions in correct nursing attempt and analyzing the patient datas before during and after surgical intervention
3   Explaining the motives of nursing attempts by using the physiopathologic mechanisms in the nursing care before during and after surgical intervention
4   In patient care using the guides based on the up-to-date indications in making decisions
5   During the clinical practice he/she shows awareness of legal and ethic issues.
