Course Objective

The aim of the course is to examine theoretical basis of basic emotions. In addition, to provide advanced knowledge about the relationship between basic emotions and psychopathology.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to list basic emotions and to be able to explain the formation of basic emotions according to different theories
2   To be able to explain situations prevent the expression of emotion
3   To be able to remember the importance of emotions in daily life and health
4   To be able to matching basic emotions with associated psychological disorders
5   To be able to remember the importance of emotions in the treatment of psychological problems
6   To be able to remember applications of emotion based treatments to psychological disorders
