Course Objective

The aim of this course is to know the hazardous chemical substances and take required cautions to chemical risk factors.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines the chemical factors which adversly effect the health of employees.
2   Knows the allowable limits of chemicals in national and international standarts.
3   Knows the related legislations.
4   Knows the resposibilities of occupational safety technician about chemical risks.

It is calculated by taking 40% of midterm exam and 60% of the final exam success rating.

Assessment Criteria

The students' level of comprehension of learning outcomes will be evaluated by measuring with midterm exam and final exam.
