Course Objective

The aim of the course is to examine the role of the state in ensuring gender equality within the framework of public goods and services. In this context, it is aimed to address with public goods and services and public policies with cross-country comparisons.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to analyze the role of the state in ensuring gender equality,
2   To be able to comprehend the gender equality function of public services according to their types and to offer solutions to the problems that arise in practice,
3   To be able to comprehend public policies from a gender perspective and to offer concrete suggestions for implementation,
4   To be able to contribute to the literature by conducting interdisciplinary studies with the theory and practice knowledge gained in one's field,
5   To be able to analyze national and international public policies for women
