Course Objective

To examine women s place and the problems encountered in working life and to provide students the ability to evaluate reasons of limited labour force participation of women.

1   To explain place of women in society
2   To know reasons and barriers of women s limited participation in labour market
3   To analyse the structure of women employment
4   To evaluate women s working conditions in different sectors and industries
5   To discuss the effects of the change in economic, social and cultural structures on women employment

1. Students are obligated to participate 70% of the lectures
2. All kinds of plagiarism and attempt of plagiarism shall be concluded by disciplinary punishment
3. Students supposed to read the materials before lecture and participate the classroom discussions
4. Students are expected to make presentations about the subjects given by the lecturer.
