Course Objective

The objective of this course is to clarify that violence against women is not caused only by one but the "total" threat of all areas that creates a misogyn semiosphere.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To analyze how all kinds of "cultural" patterns subordinate women.
2   To detect the "natural" violence that women are subjected to as a result of their subordination.
3   To distinguish that a "bundle of discourses" lies at the heart of violence against women.
4   To analyze the "sublime", sophisticated and concealed characteristics of violence against women.
5   To view the source of violence as a "cultural construction."
