Course Objective

To estabilish the relationship between virtual reality technology and art, production, application and demontration. To create awareness of thinking with students who have the ability to produce project on VR platform by using VR editing studio and VR software. To understand VR interaction model.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To understand the progress of VR technology.
2   To recognize the difference between AR/WR and understand the production methods.
3   To learn the project production methods of AR/VR.
4   Mastering the preparation process of VR contents.
5   To be able to discuss the innovations of VR aesthetics and artistic expression.
6   Having knowlege about VR projects for the future.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

To experience new media related to technology with wxisting VR glasses and production tools, using VR editin studio and software, to make all the audiovisual tehniques compatible with VR, learning by creating contents. Analyzing may examples and transferring possible art forms to VR.
