Course Objective

This course's objective is to express interference of criminal law on economic law.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To express relationship between economic life and criminal law.
2   To express the reflection of fundamental principles of criminal law on other social life phases.
3   To deepen perception concerning forensic value theory.
4   To learn structural features of crimes concerning social life in Turkish Criminal Code and to express the differences of these crimes from other crimes.
5   To learn structural features of crimes concerning social life in special criminal codes and to express the differences of these crimes from other crimes.

1 Commercial penal law concept, it's content, it's brief historical account, structural features of economic crimes.
2 The principles of criminal law within the scope of economic crimes.
3 Crimes of bankruptcy
4 Crime of tax evation (tax fraud)
5 Corruption in tenders
6 Banking embezzlement
7 Midterm Exam
8 Crime of expressing information and documents which are to be trade secrets, banking secrets, customer secrets and crime of expressing trade secrets
9 Breach of trademark right
10 Improper use of bank and credit cards
11 Crime of unfair competition
12 Loan sharking crime
13 Banking crimes
14 Banking crimes
