Course Objective

The purpose of the course is to provide the student with essential information on cultural, socio-economic and political characteristics of the countries of Africa, focusing on the sub-saharan part of the countries and with regard to their implications for the business environment.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students should be able to explain the cultural, socio-economic and political dynamics of African people and countries, in order to assess the business opportunities for this region.
2   Students should be able to assess the investment climate in Africa
