Course Objective

The objective of Turkish Language Course is to enable the comprehension of the structural and operational features of Turkish; and to enable the acquisition of the proper and fine use of the language which is a means of written and spoken expression.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To able to explane the gramatical structure of words in Turkish.
2   To able to classify words in terms of type and function.
3   To able to explane the formation and functions of phrases.
4   To able to explane the elementes of sentences in Turkish.
5   To able to recognize different types of sentences.
6   To able to recognize and correct incomprehensibility.

1 Constructive suffixes in Turkish Language.
2 The implementation of constructive suffixes in Turkish.
3 Inflectional suffixes in Turkish Language.
4 The implementation of Inflectional suffixes in Turkish.
5 Word types.
6 Word groups and compounds.
7 The practices of word groups and compounds.
8 Mid-term exam.
9 Sentence information.
10 Sentence analysis. Sentence analysis.
11 Speech and sentence errors and corrections.
12 Reading and analysis of the selected works from the world of literature and thought.
13 Reading and analysis of the selected works from the world of literature and thought.
14 General evaluation of term topics.
15 Final exam.
