Course Objective

The course focuses on the relationship between art and psychology. Interaction of art and psychology, psychological effects of literary movements will be explained and it will be informed about current psychotherapy approach related to healing power of art.

1   To be able to understand interaction of art and psychology
2   Be able to comprehend the effects of art on the psychological notion
3   To be able to comprehend Gestalt Theory of Visual Perception
4   To be able to understand the effects of psychological processes of various literary movements on art
5   To be able to understand the effects of art in clinical practice
6   To be able to discuss various psychotherapy practices that use the healing power of art
