Course Objective

Explaining the theoretical bond with entrepreneurship of the innovation phenomenon which comes into prominence in our days,establishing a bond with basic variables of institutional entrepreneurships in institutions which are based upon R-D roots and the results devoted to field of practice. Explaining the roles of managers in R-D practices and understanding the function of institutional entrepreneurship and institution culture in institutionalization of R-D culture.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defining the basic concept,models and factors about institutional entrepreneurship
2   Being able to tell the differences between institutional entrepreneurship phenomenon and factors
3   Being able to realize the factors which leads to success and failure R-D institutions
4   Being able to associate basic varieties of institutional entrepreneurship phenomenon and the results of managerial entrepreneurship practices between institutions who have R-D with success and failure
5   Need for information about branch and being able to reach it
6   Being able to design,improve,apply and evaluate a method in order to solve a problem in a framework of a scientific work.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Assessment includes; case studies, discussion, team work, presentation and written examination besides theoretical analysis. Students will be assessed according to their midterm and final examinations, presentation of term projects and participation (Please see: Course Policies and Rules).

Assessment Criteria

Grade in year and final grade must be 75 or above. Students are evaluated according to their attendance the midterm and final exam,discussion in lessons end the presentations of homework at the end of the term

Course Policies and Rules:
Rules related to midterm and final exams are: Questions are not general but specific, case study analyses should be made by using of proper terminology. Following points will be considered on this matter. Ability to use terminology properly, degree of consistency between cause and effect relationships of concepts. The solution to the problems should be well grounded, scientific, logical and convincing. Readings related to the course and having a grasp of the topics are important.
