Course Objective

To raise individuals who are open to discussion and able to accept that religion can be
criticised So, they can sustain a religion and a modern faith that is compatible with
science, rational and able to provide to happiness of a enlightened and thinking
society.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Student, at the end of the semester, will be able to differentiate the prejudgements that prevent thinking straight, and the things whether they are related to religion by getting know them.
2   Will get know the classical and modern literature; and get information about the history of philosophy of religion.
3   Will be able to study philosophically on religious texts and state modern comments about them.
4   Through the understanding the nature of religion they will be able to grasp the inner and conscience s dimensions of it.
5   Will be able to understand the nature of some views that enrich the religious thought, such as pluralism etc.
