Course Objective

This course aims to teachthe life of hafiz (who is memorize Quran) of the Republic period in Turkey and learn the signs, principles of "secavend" and "ibtida" in the Quran.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students learn what the concepts of "secavend, ibtida and kat'" mean.
2   Students learn the signs of the "vakıf", namely the "secavend".
3   Students learn the Quran reading style and manners.
4   To learn the lives of some memories of the Qur'an from the Republic Period in Turkey and their services to the Qur'an.
5   To memorize some chapters from the Quran, and learn about their meaning.
