Course Objective

Be able to prepare a presentation about Audiology and Speeech Disorders.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to acquire knowledge of vestibular system and hearing anatomy and physiology
2   To be able to acquire knowledge of vestibular disorders and types of hearing loss
3   To be able to acquire knowledge of subjective and objective tests
4   To be able to acquire knowledge of newborn hearing screening programme.
5   To be able to acquire knowledge of hearing tests and rehabilitation programs for children.
6   To be able to acquire knowledge of language development stages in children.
7   To be able to acquire knowledge of tinnitus therapy.
8   To be able to acquire knowledge of noise-induced hearing loss and ototoxicity-induced hearing loss.
