Course Objective

The objectives of this lecture is to teach basic concepts and principles of modern logic

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   At the end of this lecture, the student will be able to distinguish consistent propositions and valid derivations from inconsistent propositions and invalid derivations,
2   to gain the ability to make valid derivations,
3   to explain the basic concepts and principles of modern logic to other people,
4   to check the consistency and validity degree of logical argumentation,
5   to apply the principles to modern logic to Turkish language.
