Course Objective

To present an overall view of main philosophical ideas of Aristotle. His conception of dialectic, metaphysics and philosophy od nature will be in particular emphasised. His practical philosophy will be from good's and citizenship's point of view in particular explored.

1   To have a general idea of Aristotle's philosophy of nature. 2   To have a general view about Aristotle's metaphysics. 3   To know Aristotle's ethics and its main concepts. 4   To know Aristotle's political philosophy and its main concepts. 5   To know Aristotle's ideal of humans, citizens and polis.
