Course Objective

It was learned technical devices in coproparasitology laboratory, materials of stool fixatives and methods of staining stools when using diagnostic methods.

1   List microscope types, describe light microscope and practice
2   Define, describe and apply fresh stool examination methods
3   Define, classify and apply stool concentration methods
4   Describe, explain and apply permanent and temporary staining methods in stool samples
5   List examination methods of aspirations, body fluids and urine
6   Outline nematode larvae detection and production methods
7   List and practice parasite preparation and preservation methods

1 Condition of sample acceptance in coproparasitology, students and personel training
2 Microscope types and light microscope properties
3 Methods of stool prezervation and collectionand fixatives
4 Examination of fresh stool via microscopic and macroscopic methods
5 Concentration methods (sedimentation)
6 Concentration methods (flotation)
7 Other stool examination methods (cellophane tape, counting of nematod s egg)
8 Temporary staining methods in stool samples
9 Permanent staining methods in stool samples
10 Special staining methods in stool samples
11 Examination methods of aspirations, body fluids and urine
12 Parasite preparation and preservation methods for demonstration
13 Cryopreservation methods
14 Using cryopreservation methods in parasitology
