Course Objective

The objective of this course is to provide the industrial audio-video application techniques, actual implementation projects and studies, troubleshooting studies in real Autocad projects; Building acoustics application projects by making calculations and studies on the preparation of acoustic reports for the building, conference hall, private classrooms and so on. Providing sound transition controls for spaces, construction of construction materials in accordance with regulations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To provide full control in large scale technological systems, to make sound transition designs and engineering calculations due to building structural elements
2   Ensuring control in the latest system products related to current and universal common use properties and the sound transmission properties of the building elements
3   To provide full control of the subjects of TS EN ISO standards regarding universal certificates and procedures and sound transmission properties of building components.
4   Ability to detect problems by themselves and to find technical responses, ability to provide acoustic comfort of a building in accordance with the related regulations
5   To be able to provide all the technical and technological equipment acquired for the benefit of the society with its consumable and recoverable characteristics.

1 Mid-sized systems (CAD and building acoustics, acoustic performance class studies, application projects) This training period will be carried out in order to calculate acoustical building materials, design acoustical building materials, design of halls according to acoustic performance class and preparation of acoustic reports within the scope of regulations.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Audio systems, video and stage lighting technologies, teleconference, simultaneous interpretation systems, cinema and concert hall sound systems, school interactive learning systems etc. will be analyzed by real final architectural projects.
