Course Objective

In this course,it is aimed that to give knowledge about concept of health anddisease, disease etiology, prevalence of diseases related to the basic principles in terms of health care;relation betweeen the systems and diseases; nature of infectious diseases and transmision routes, sterilization, disinfection, nosocomial infections.

1   Can define the basic definitions and concepts related to health 2   Can define what are the criteria that affect health 3   Can discuss the effects of mental health on lifestyle 4   Can discuss sexual and reproductive Health concepts and related policies in this area 5   Explain the ways of transmission of communicable diseases and their prevention methods 6   Discuss environmental health concepts and the factors that affect it. 7   Define Work related diseases, risk factors and prevention methods 8   Can define family planning and methods 9   Can define the problems of health care employees 10   Can discuss the preventive methods for nosocomial enfections
