Course Objective

The aim of the course is to improve skills of performing physical therapy assessment methods, planning and applying physiotherapy treatments, communication with patients and other health professionals.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Conducts, interpretes and reports physiotherapy assessments in orthopedic diseases.
2   Conducts, interpretes and reports physiotherapy assessments in neurologic diseases.
3   Conducts, interpretes and reports physiotherapy assessments in respiratory and cardiac diseases.
4   Plans and applies physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs individual to the patient in orthopedic diseases.
5   Plans and applies physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs individual to the patient in neurologic diseases.
6   Plans and applies physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs individual to the patient in respiratory and cardiac diseases.
7   Communicates with the patient and patient's family. Informs patient and patient's family about physiotherapy.
