Course Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students learning the basics of nutrition and health related fields and to examine the treatment of diseases and medical nutrition can be integrated into physical therapy field.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to analyze the basic principles of nutrition and dietary health relationship 2   Carbohydrates, proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, vitamins and minerals 3   enerj metabolism, hormones and metabolism can define the relationship 4   In special cases, you can define the basic principles of nutrition and relationship muscle metabolism. 5   define the approach of the disease in medical nutrition therapy

Week Subject Description 1 Today, nutrition and genetic identification of nutrients and nutrition; Nutrigenomics and Nutrigenetik 2 The structure of carbohydrates, function and metabolism of the importance of nutrition 3 Proteins, amino acids, nucleic acid constructs functions, metabolism and the importance of nutrition 4 Lipids structure, function and metabolism of the importance of nutrition 5 Vitamins and minerals structure, function, metabolism, the importance of nutrition 6 Enzymes, energy metabolism, hormone metabolism 7 Muscle, nerve physiology and nutrient relationship 8 Midterm 9 etabolic syndrome, medical nutrition therapy in diabetes 10 Heart disease and diet 11 Cancer and medical nutrition therapy 12 in neurological diseases (MS, ALS, stroke) medical nutrition therapy 13 In children, the elderly and sports injuries nutrition, healthy eating pyramid 14 Importance of bioactive compounds in food applications Complementary Medicine
